He believes that the skill shortage in the booming services industry, other than the IT sector, is largely under-appreciated and unless this issue gets due attention, this has the potential to turn our country’s demographic dividend into a nightmare. He started his career as a Probationary Officer with State Bank and then spent the last 18 years contributing to the growth story of HDFC Bank. Over the last few years, he has headed zones based at Bangalore and Kochi with over a hundred bank branches and close to a thousand team members. After post-graduating in Physics, he also did his PGDGM with NMIMS & MDP at IIM, Ahmedabad.
