Mysuru, 11/09/2023 — A landmark initiative was unveiled today as Bherunda Foundation, in association with MYRA School of Business, launched the Centre of Excellence for Entrepreneurs and Family Business. This groundbreaking venture aims to be the linchpin for entrepreneurial growth and development in Mysuru. The initiative was made even more remarkable by the presence of eminent personalities and experts in the field of business and entrepreneurship.
The Centre of Excellence was inaugurated by Padma Vibhushan N. R. Narayana Murthy, Founder & Chairman Emeritus of Infosys. Dr. Sridhar Mitta, Founder & Managing Director of NextWealth Entrepreneurs was the keynote speaker and His Highness Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and Her Highness Smt Trishika Kumari Wadiyar, presided over the event. Sri Kantharaj Urs, Managing Trustee, MYRA School of Business delivered the opening remarks and Dr. Ramasastry Ambarish, Dean & Chairman, Board of Governors, MYRA School of Business delivered the closing remarks.
An insightful and candid Fireside chat with Padma Vibhushan N. R. Narayana Murthy was conducted by alumni entrepreneurs of MYRA School of Business – Shrinkhala Kushwaha, (Founder & CSO, InsideOut), Sanjana M. S. (Director, Ovobel), Ananth Srinath (Director, Sri Shankara National Centre for Cancer Prevention and Research) and Adarsh Ramesh (Founder & Managing Partner, Desiadda).
Two insightful panel discussions enriched the proceedings. The first panel on venture capital featured Sri Sudhanva Dhananjaya, Founder & Managing Director of Excelsoft Technologies, Sri Achutha Bachalli K., Chairman, Infopine, and Sri Naganand Doraswamy, Managing Partner & Founder of Ideaspring Capital, and was chaired by Dr. Ramasastry Ambarish, Dean & Chairman, Board of Governors, MYRA School of Business.
The second panel focused on family businesses and featured Sri Arjun Ranga, Managing Director of N Ranga Rao and Sons Pvt. Ltd., Sri Ashirwad Agarwal, Managing Director of Triveni Enterprises, and Sri S S Gopala Rathnam, Chairman of Sadashiva Financial Services Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and was chaired by Dr. Sampath Dorairajan, Visiting Faculty for Entrepreneurship at MYRA School of Business.
