The Chairperson of Royal Bank of Scotland Meera Sanyal inaugurated the founding batch of MYRA School of Business at Koorgalli in city yesterday.

Among the 10 points on Management, the theme of her address, Sanyal spoke on management of time, management of self and management of expectations to the students.

Sid Mookerji, Global CEO & Founder, SPI (Software Paradigms Infotech) delivered a lecture on ‘Leadership in a Global Organisation’ at the newly-initiated Indus Tree CXO Power Talks@MYRA at the MYRA School of Business in Yelwal here on July 4.

“Leadership in a global organisation means to understand the cross cultural differences, to be sensitive to the customs of people in a particular country and accordingly interact,” said Sid Mookerji and pointed out that in Japan, for instance, where the decision of the oldest member in the room is final, if one chose to ignore that sentiment, the entire organisation would stand to lose opportunity to do business with the Japanese counterpart.
