Prof. Vijay Govindarajan, author of the best seller, Reverse Innovation, will speak on ‘Corporate strategy, emerging markets and Sustainable innovations’ at the MYRA School of Business in Mysore on Jan 6.

The event will be held as part of MYRA’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

Vijay Govindarajan, professor of International Business and founding director of Center for Global Leadership, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (U.S), will speak on ‘Corporate strategy, emerging markets and sustainable innovation’ here on January 6. The lecture will be held at the MYRA School of Business campus as a part of the MYRA Distinguished lecture series.

Vijay Govindarajan the Earl C Daum 1924 Professor of International Business at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College recently said innovations should first be developed in and for emerging markets before spreading it to the rest of the world. It will dramatically change business and society.

Delivering a lecture on ‘Reverse Innovation’ at the MYRA School of Busines, Vijay Govindarajan popularly known as VG referred to a typical electrocardiogram machine that costs aroung $50,000 in the United States with each scan amounting close to #100.

Vijay Govindarajan, the Earl C. Daum 1924 Professor of International Business, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, USA, gave a lecture on ‘Reverse Innovation’ to an audience of nearly 200 persons at the newly inaugurated MYRA School of Business campus in Yelwal here on Jan 6.

Vijay Govindarajan, author of worldwide best seller Reverse Innovation, spoke on corporate strategy, emerging markets and sustainability with close relevance drawn to Indian context.

The MYRA School of Business hosted the “Workshop on Governance andPolitical Economy” in Mysore on December 17th and 18th. The Works opwas held in association with the Department of Economics at Uniersity of Warwick and the Association for Public
Economic Theory, and was organized by Prof. Amrita Dhillon, University of Warwick and
Prof. Shalini Urs, MYRA School of Business.
